As public dissemination is a core principle of community-engaged scholarship, academic journals should not be the only avenue used to share results. The WashU Office of Public Scholarship is a valuable on-campus resource that supports scholars in translating research and creative work for audiences beyond the university.
Our faculty are already doing fantastic work with the community, and the St. Louis Confluence Collaborative will give us an opportunity to connect faculty and community partners to each other.
