Join us for the second session of our four-part Confluence Collaborative Community Café series, designed to bring together faculty, community partners, and youth-serving organizations to move from shared understanding to collective action. This second café will take place on May 1st from 9:00-12:00PM in the Delmar DivINe.
Series Breakdown
Café 1: The Why — Who’s at the Table? (April 10)
We begin by grounding ourselves in purpose. Together, we will explore the needs of youth and families and examine who is currently at the table — and who must be included to create meaningful impact.
Café 2: Moving from Why to How (May 1)
Now that we have named the why, we shift to strategy. Participants will identify pathways, resources, and collaborative approaches needed to move ideas into action.
Café 3: From Insight to Next Steps (June 5)
In this session, we synthesize what we have learned and begin outlining practical next steps. The focus is on alignment, shared priorities, and preparing for deeper partnership work.
Café 4: Building the Right Table for Change (July 10)
We close by intentionally identifying the partners, voices, resources, funding, and commitments required to sustain this work. This Café positions participants to transition into the Confluence Collaborative Research Development Cohort.
Why attend the Series?
Participants will:
- Engage in meaningful cross-sector dialogue
- Build relationships with faculty and community partners
- Establish shared priorities for youth, families, and communities
- Position themselves for participation in the Fall Research Development Cohort
- Move from conversation to collaborative action
- Identify funding resources and opportunities
