This working symposium brings together faculty, campus, and community partners to identify critical needs in our community and learn how community-engaged research may move us towards solutions.
During this event, experienced community-engaged research teams will share how they defined community engagement, how they developed their partnership and projects, and what the benefits were to their approaches. During working sessions, participants will reflect on critical needs in St. Louis, identify areas where more research or data is needed, and plan next steps. Finally, a panel of funders and research supporters will share funding opportunities and resources available for community-based research.
Thank you to the Research Development Office, University Advancement, Missouri Foundation for Health, WahsU Center for the Environment, WashU School of Public Health Food and Agriculture Research Mission (FARM), Siteman Cancer Center and the WashU Brown School Public Exchange for partnering with us on this symposium.
